It's New Year's Eve! I'm so done with 2024 bro, waiting for 2025 to come. A lot happened but also nothing happened this year iykwim. I made some resolutions for this year on Jan 1 or before that but only accomplished some (it's okay tho I'll make more realistic ones this year probably) Anyways thank goodness this year went by pretty quickly. There were some good moments, but I'm excited for 2025.

I used to loathe getting haircuts but I got one recently and it's actually kinda actually okay now. I was curious so I edited my Yoko fanart with short hair. Why does it remind me of The Queen's Gambit πππ
I can't believe I was messing around with sketching a rich-looking girl and realized it reminded me of Yoko somehow so I ended up making this. It was really fun tho I did a completely different method than I usually do for drawing/rendering/coloring. Also did diff stuff for emotions omg there were so many possible combos, but I'll only post the neutral face and one with everything on it :) Feel like I've drawn Yoko so many times now wow.
Anj takes place from when Joe was 15-21ish right. I've always wondered, how come all the kids didn't grow or change at all? Cuz like for example Sachi is about 6 in the beginning, then at the end she'd be 12ish. But! They didn't get taller or change hair, clothes, nothing π The only indication they ever grew that I remember was Joe saying the kids got heavier in the anime when he would play with them. Man I really miss seeing all the kids and Joe play together though. It was so wholesome and cute. One of the few times Joe was nice.

Even Yuri and Epi are chill. A-yeon I wish I could like you but I don't see a redemption arc ever for her ππsmh my head. So much drama in this manhwa. Also art has some unique qualities and I'm just a sucker for TSOIAH. I love the way the eyes are drawn. I'm excited to see how it develops as we get into later chapters ^^

guys today while walking to my bus stop omg it was so windy and cold even in a puffer jacket πi was walking down and hill and the wind was LOUD it felt like driving 60mph on a highway windows and sunroof open. i couldnt even wear my hoodie cuz the wind was blowing it off my head. there were dead fall leaves swirling around everywhere going all up in the air like out of some dramatic ahh movie (it was kinda pretty tho it was like a hurricane of gold and red swirling around).

The art looks good and I'm interested to see how the story might unfold. I didn't know Innocent Rouge was the sequel until just now so oops. Guess I'll have to read Innocent first then. I wonder if this was inspired by RoV in any way?

It was actually called δΈγεγγ¦ζ©γγ originally and was released in 1961. It was a #1 in Japan. And it spent 3(!) weeks at the top of American Billboard charts in June 1963. It's the only song made by a Japanese artist (+no English lyrics) to hit #1 in the US. I just think it's amazing how popular and significant this song was not only in Japan, but in other countries as well (like Mexio, Australia, Canada, etc.), esp when most wouldn't be able to understand anything in the song. Apparently the song was inspired by Anpo protests. Also Kyu, the artist, unfortunately died in one of the worst aircraft disasters in history at only 43 (Japan Airlines Flight 123 crash of 1985). Despite the tragedy surrounding this song I like hearing the stories of people who know and adore it for a number of different, personal reasons. It's amazing how music can transcend time, culture, language, and connect to anybodyI was ON IT that day π₯π₯π₯Drew so much art.
