Today's song OTD is No. 1 Party Anthem by Arctic Monkeys.. been kinda obsessed with this song lately. It's so bittersweet. 2:20-3:00 is so peak especially... This has been my first song otd in a while but tbh dont think im gonna do them much anymore. havent been listening to as much music as well 

Also I saw this one Nishi edit and omg.. someone tell me why it keeps making me tear up... I think this is the 1st Nishi edit I've ever seen. He's so underrated fr. It's actually really insane when you think about Nishi's character arc, he changed so much. Also I think Nishi was Joe's first real friend? I love their friendship so much wahh I miss anj again now 😭 It's so tragic that he didn't attend Joe's last match bro why wasn't he there 💔💔

had a dream about anj the other day..... i was looking on this website and there was a list of most popular manga. and anj was in the #1 spot. also there were like 5 official english translation books and i was so excited & wanted to read them 😂 dont remember the rest of the dream.. i should start writing my dreams down again so my memory gets better. also whenever i have an anj-related dream its so random/weird for some reason.

also since we're on the topic i just found out that all of 尾藤イサオ's anj songs got removed from spotify 😭😭😭💔💔💔 omg NOOOOO why does this always happen man. now i have to scour the internet to find these songs again. kms.

I also didn't finish my art for this so it'll just be the sketch 😭 Love that new years and anj anniversary are on the same day cuz i can pretend ppl are celebrating anj.... ill always remember you joe!!! also ive heard absolutely no one talk abt this today, its kinda sad

 I was curious so I edited my Yoko fanart with short hair. Why does it remind me of The Queen's Gambit 😭😭😭

Also edited a real Yoko drawing just to see more. Long hair def suits her better and makes her look richer

 I can't believe I was messing around with sketching a rich-looking girl and realized it reminded me of Yoko somehow so I ended up making this. It was really fun tho I did a completely different method than I usually do for drawing/rendering/coloring. Also did diff stuff for emotions omg there were so many possible combos, but I'll only post the neutral face and one with everything on it :) Feel like I've drawn Yoko so many times now wow.

Anj takes place from when Joe was 15-21ish right. I've always wondered, how come all the kids didn't grow or change at all? Cuz like for example Sachi is about 6 in the beginning, then at the end she'd be 12ish. But! They didn't get taller or change hair, clothes, nothing 😭 The only indication they ever grew that I remember was Joe saying the kids got heavier in the anime when he would play with them. Man I really miss seeing all the kids and Joe play together though. It was so wholesome and cute. One of the few times Joe was nice.

Happy Boxing Day!

Happy boxing day everyone! Omg it feels like there are so many different holidays around these months/days. I made this lil sketch of my goat Joe, I wanted to draw something cooler but I didn't have time :( It's okay tho. Next year... I'll make something amazing 

i wanna re-read anj so bad

 suddenly got the most desperate yearning urge to reread anj again. i want to read it slowly and savour it more than when i first read it. take screenshots of my favorite panels, discover new things i missed the first time, create a more in-depth analysis of this amazing manga. idk why but thinking about reading anj again makes me feel insane. i miss you joe, rikiishi, carlos, yoko, danpei, nishi, noriko, sachi and the kids, kim, everyone!

i also want to rewatch the anime but prob later. i think maybe ill read the manga again in 2025 around the same time i read it before. maybe it can be a yearly thing idk. im just so obsessed with anj teehee

This video is so goofy .. "Listen, don't waste your life stealing from candy stores. You know, you're lucky I'm not a policeman, or I would toss you right in jail!" Not them redesigning Joe's entire personality to be the complete opposite of what he is 😭😭😭😭 The dub doesn't suit him either. What happened to insane crazy delinquent gremlin Joe.... Completely misinterpreting what anj is about smh! Makes me wonder how much they'd change if there was a full eng dub.. Still funny to watch tho
