Digital art...

mans i really wanna draw in a more realistic and sort of painterly style but its so hard dawg .. tired of drawing only in a simple cartoony style!!

Painting OTD

Ran out of song drafts.. so until December I'm replacing song OTD with Historical Event of the day now! It'll be a little thing about some sort of fun or notable event that happened on the same day :) I was gonna do Historical Event OTD but I feel like it'll be boring after 3 days

Today's painting is La Promenade (The Walk) Pierre-Auguste RENOIR
1870. Oil on canvas, 81 x 65 cm . J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles
La Promenade is an oil on canvas, early Impressionist painting by the French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir, created in 1870. The work depicts a young couple on an excursion outside of the city, walking on a path through a woodland. Influenced by the rococo revival style during the Second Empire, Renoir's La Promenade reflects the older style and themes of eighteenth-century artists like Jean-Honoré Fragonard and Jean-Antoine Watteau. The work also shows the influence of Claude Monet on Renoir's new approach to painting. (Took this info from Artly bc I'm lazy.)

I love the pose and loose brushstrokes of this painting! The white dress really stands out against the darker background. Love the range of colors too. Overall very pretty, love the Monet influence too

Today's song is I Think I Like When It Rains by WILLIS. Used to listen to this and completely forgot about it omg. It feels soothing and cozy and nostalgic. Makes my heart hurt a little bit. For experiences I've never had. I love rain!!

Fersen is that you

I swear Klaus looks just like Fersen but with a blunter hairstyle.. is it just me or nah

Song OTD

Today's song is About You by The 1975. This song is just... wow. It's so, so dreamy, it feels almost cathartic. Like you're in some sort of storm, and so much is happening, and time is stopping. The lyrics are amazing. Love when Carly Holt sings :) Definitely sounds like something I'd listen to on loop on a quiet, dark fall/winter night.
