Riyoko is OBSESSED with making female characters with beautiful curly/wavy blond hair, blue eyes, insanely gorgeous, and looks like or is mistaken for a man
The same face syndrome is hitting hard with these 3😭But it's okay... I actually love the handsome woman that looks like a pretty man trope that Ikeda got going on in so many of her manga (even though she could've changed SOME things.. like hair/eye color but whatever).
it bothers me tbh that she keeps making characters that look the same 😭but honestly every old mangaka also kept making characters that looked the same like go nagai and tetsuya chiba lol i wish there was more diversity
ReplyDeleteyeah i agree completely. i mean its understandable to have 1-2 characters that look the same. but riyoko is out here reusing the same design for main characters in every manga, i wonder if her others also have the same thing going on. maybe she just really likes drawing that type of char idk
